Hi
there dear people!
After
our inspiring sunny summer in Portugal last
year, we dived into the tranquillity of the Berlin winter. In that spacious city we
enjoyed a lot of essential meetings with people who became lovely friends.
The Berlin culture
showed us a free and low-key creativity which made us more open to our
capabilities.

In Berlin we incorporated all our experiences and
findings from Portugal and
we took a good look at all the designs from the past years. Out of all this gathered
knowledge and experience we saw that the potential of these older creations
were not yet fully explored. And idea after idea bubbled up as the cross
pollination went on.
Next
to the six already existing designs, three more fantastic new designs came out.
And now we have nine beautiful solar ovens on the drawing board, still
crystallising. We are playfully investing the possibilities and we are experiencing so much
enjoyment in this. We trust that integration will manifest while going
with the flow of the season. Because in this time of the year all seeds are
bursting out of the ground and nothing is set yet. Everything is still emerging
and so do we.
The
applications of these different ovens are so varied that we have decided to
name them as light catchers. It is still too early to expand on these new
designs now. But what we can say is; that the newest light catchers are
much more effective; don’t weight so much; are mobile; easy to
handle; and are more affordable. We couldn’t be more cheerful about this : )
and it makes us jumpy to go outside again!
After
more then two months in Berlin we have found a
nice place in Amsterdam
again. And for the coming period we will be working there on defining our
course for the next spring and summer.
